Current opportunities and bidding for contracts

All opportunities to provide ECC with goods and services over £100k are advertised on our tendering website, Proactis.

Once your organisation is registered you will be able to view current opportunities and submit bids through Proactis.

Support for using Proactis is available through their help desk.

You can also view our procurement opportunities spreadsheet (XLS, 2.82MB) for current opportunities to supply the council.

Potential bidders are advised that notices in relation to applicable procurements will be published on the new Find A Tender platform (FTS) instead of OJEU/TED.

Contracts Finder will continue to be used as appropriate.

You can view our Commercial Pipeline Report (PDF, 154.48kB) for details of potential future sourcing requirements.

You can email procurement.team@essex.gov.uk if you have questions about these opportunities.

Transport contracts

We tender bus services for:

  • home to school
  • social care
  • local bus

To bid for a passenger transport contract, you will need to register and complete the accreditation and enrolment process using our Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), which you can join via proactis. Your business will need to meet Essex County Council’s criteria for the provision of passenger transport services.

DPS guidance documents have been uploaded onto Proactis and further guidance and assistance is also available on the system.

If you have any questions please contact PTContract.Management@essex.gov.uk
