We are the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled schools in Essex. This means we set the admission arrangements for these schools.
The admission arrangements sets out how schools admit pupils and includes:
- the published admission number
- the oversubscription criteria
- information on waiting lists

Objection to school admission arrangements
You can contact the schools adjudicator if you think the determined arrangements for 2025 to 2026 are unfair and do not comply with the School Admissions Code or Admissions regulations.
Any objection must be referred to the adjudicator by 15 May 2024.
